Procedural abortions: Most people don’t need a follow-up after a procedural abortion, but we will inform you if one is necessary. We can offer follow-up care in our clinic or help you find a nearby provider. We are here for your care and well-being, please reach out if you have concerns.

Medication abortions: Follow-up care after a medication abortion is important to confirm that the process is complete and that you are recovering well. This may include an ultrasound, a series of blood tests, or an at-home pregnancy test taken 5–6 weeks later. Our team will talk through each option with you and help determine the approach that best fits your needs.
